Do not wash or dry clean – brush or wipe clean with a damp rag. Rewax as needed to maintain maximum water resistance. To prevent the transfer of oils, we recommend avoiding prolonged contact between Filson oil finish goods and light-colored fabrics, especially in warm weather.Durable pants for work or field built with iconic oil finish Tin Cloth.
Our Oil Finish Single Tin Pants earned their reputation for unfailing durability and protection from rain, snow, and mud during the Pacific Northwest’s logging boom of the 1920s. Still a staple in the backlands, our Tin Pants continue to protect foresters, hunters, and tradesmen. Their weight is comparable to a pair of sturdy jeans, with a tight weave that resists punctures, tears, and abrasion. The canvas duck is thoroughly saturated with wax under heat and pressure for water resistance. A pair hangs in the Filson offices that has faithfully served through twenty upland hunting seasons. The fit is roomy through the seat and thighs for the freedom of motion to climb, squat, and scramble. Zippered fly and snapped waistband. Includes suspender buttons.
