Yes, we offer free economy shipping on all orders over $195 within the United States, including the contiguous U.S., Hawaii, Alaska, APO/FPO addresses, and U.S. territories. No discount code is required. Free shipping does not apply on international orders.
Orders are typically shipped within 48 hours (excluding weekends and federal holidays). Economy shipping generally takes 4-8 business days, while expedited options are available for faster delivery.

Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, as long as the item is unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition with tags attached.Final Sale items, hemmed items, or altered items may not be returned.
Use the return label and slip provided in your original packaging. Simply fill out the slip and drop your return in the mail. If you have any questions, please contact customer service.Filson only provides prepaid return labels for the contiguous United States.

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, contact us immediately, and we'll make it right at no cost to you.
Once we receive your return, refunds are processed within 7 business days.
Product Care
To maintain water resistance, reapply Filson's wax dressing as needed. Warm the wax, rub it into the fabric, and use a hairdryer to help it absorb. Let it dry overnight before use.
Most Filson products can be machine washed, with the exception of those made from waxed canvas, rugged twill, and wool materials. Refer to the tag stitched on the inside of the product to get detailed care information.
Yes, many of our materials, like Tin Cloth, Rugged Twill, and Bridle Leather, will age beautifully with use, developing a unique patina that enhances their character.
Spot clean with cold water when possible. For deeper cleaning, dry clean only, as washing can shrink or distort the wool fibers.
Yes, we stand behind our craftsmanship and offer repairs for many of our products. Contact customer service or visit a store to discuss repair options.
Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our products. We guarantee our items against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. This does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage.
You can submit a repair request by contacting our customer service team. We’ll assess the damage and determine if it can be functionally repaired. Some repairs may be subject to a fee depending on the issue.
Normal wear and tear includes fading, fabric thinning, and other signs of regular use over time. Damage caused by improper care, accidents, or modifications is not covered under warranty.
Repair times vary based on the item and type of repair needed. Most repairs take 4-6 weeks to complete. Our team will provide an estimated timeframe once your request is reviewed.
If a product has a defect in materials or workmanship that cannot be repaired, we may offer a replacement at our discretion. If the item is no longer available, we’ll work with you to find a suitable alternative.
Sizing & Fit
Filson products are designed with a classic, functional fit. While most of our garments are made with a relaxed fit, we recommend checking the specific product page for detailed sizing information. If you are unsure of which size to purchase, reach out to customer support for guidance.
You can find size charts on each product page under the "Sizing & Fit" section. These charts provide measurements for key areas of the garment to help you find the right fit. We recommend measuring a comparable product that fits you well, and referencing the Filson product size guide to select a size made to similar measurements.
Filson garments generally run large. If you're between sizes or prefer a trimmer fit, we recommend sizing down. For outerwear designed to layer, consider what you’ll wear underneath when selecting your size.
Some cotton garments may shrink slightly after washing. To minimize shrinkage, follow the care instructions and avoid high heat when drying. Wool and synthetic fabrics generally maintain their size and shape.
