Filson Workshop Suede Duffle Bag

This limited-edition duffle was handcrafted in the Filson Workshop located just inside our Seattle Flagship retail store. Here, two skilled craftsmen design and build unique products using archive, short-run, and deadstock materials.

Just forty duffles were made with roughout suede leather from Chicago’s renowned Horween Leather Company. The smooth side of the hide is on the interior, and the sueded surface on the exterior. This premium boot-grade leather was specially treated during tanning for maximum water resistance. The extra-strong handles are made from Bridle Leather vegetable-tanned by Pennsylvania’s Wickett & Craig. A heavy-duty 10-gauge solid brass zipper from YKK® secures the top.

This compact, barrel-shaped duffle is patterned after the gear bags one of our craftsmen makes for his overland moto expeditions. Each of these rare bags is hand-stamped with its production number on a harness leather Workshop logo patch. A limited-edition collectible.
